Do I need a Pro subscription to use it?

Yes. Max and every other shadcn.io template, block, and component are bundled in the Pro plan. One-time payment, lifetime updates — see /pricing for the breakdown.

Is Max only for solo developers, or does it work for small studios too?

Both. The personal-brand framing leans solo (single hero name + outsized typography), but the project showcase grid and brand-list sections scale cleanly to a 2–5 person studio. Add team members to the about section and the rest of the layout still reads correctly.

Next.js 15.4 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript 5.6, Tailwind CSS v4, and shadcn/ui v5.6. Hero animations and the brand-list hover effects are built on `motion/react` with reduced-motion fallbacks.

Can I add my own case studies and brand list?

Yes. Project case studies live in a typed array in `lib/projects.ts` (each entry has `title`, `role`, `year`, `cover`, `metrics`). The brand list is a single string array in `lib/brands.ts` — drop in your client names and the marquee renders them in order.

Does the hero typography stay readable on small screens?

Yes — the headline scales from `text-6xl` on mobile to `text-7xl` on desktop and `text-[88px]` at 2xl. The clip-path entrance animation downgrades gracefully at smaller sizes, and the `tracking-tighter` adjusts so long names don't break awkwardly.

Can I customize the brand colors and fonts?

Yes. Colors flow through Tailwind v4's CSS variables (edit OKLCH values in `app/globals.css` or paste a theme from /theme-generator). The default uses Cabinet Grotesk; swap via the `next/font` import in `app/layout.tsx` to match your personal type system.

Will I get future updates?

Yes. Pro is a one-time payment for lifetime updates. New sections, bug fixes, and shadcn/ui major-version upgrades land via the shadcn CLI or the MCP server.
